I hope everyone has been enjoying this summer as much as I have. The weather has been great – the ocean temperatures have been just about perfect and the number of awesome beach days surpassed even my wildest expectations. I believe that the last SANDY repair is finally completed on my parent’s home – the house is a bit higher these days making the porch view just that much nicer. Raising a home is quite an awesome thing to watch – not one picture fell off the wall nor was one tea cup displaced in the cabinet. The outside shower was 10 feet in the air which did pose a few problems but has since been lowered to a useable height ! 🙂 Let’s hope no one has to go through that kind of storm again. Many people are still working on repairs and restorations with some saying it could be 10 years before things are back to where they were pre-SANDY.
Please visit the benchmark data post to view the results of marking period four. The data from the end of the year was remarkably consistent with the other three marking periods. We are in a good place with our benchmark process and the upcoming year will follow the same basic format as this past year. Stay tuned for the back to school information packet for additional information. Once that is sent (week of August 16th) I will also post on the blog for reference.
ENJOY THESE LAST FEW WEEKS OF SUMMER AND GET READY FOR AN OUTSTANDING SCHOOL YEAR!
